4.9 Analytics Terminology Sheet

1. Users

Users: Number of people who created, or used an account to use Live Tracking in your EventApp or on the web

Users who claimed their bib: Number of race participants who claimed their bib to enable GPS tracking, or sign up for SocialShares to Facebook or Twitter 

2. Social Followers

Following a participant counts as a follower. This can be either a SocialShares follower, or someone using live tracking to follow a participant

Facebook : Number of people following someone, and automatically posting their progress on Facebook using SocialShares 

Twitter: Number of people following someone, and automatically posting their progress on Twitter using SocialShares

SMS/Text: Number of people following someone, and automatically receiving their progress via SMS using SocialShares

Email: Number of people following someone, and automatically receiving their progress via email using SocialShares

In-app notification: When using the EventApp, the number of people following someone receiving their progress via in-app notification (notify me option)

3. Shares

Facebook: Total number of shared SocialShares messages on Facebook

Twitter: Total number of shared SocialShares messages on Twitter

SMS/Text: Total number of SocialShares SMS send

Email: Total number of emails send

In-app notification: Total number of in-app notifications send

4. Registrations

Registrations: Total number of athletes imported per race for this event

5. EventApp

Total sessions: (formerly known as Visits)  The number of times your website is accessed (this is different from number of Visitors) and the period of time users are actively engaged on your website. Watching the trends in your visits allows you to analyze which aspects of your online marketing are working.

Total screenviews: The number of pages a visitor views over the duration of their visit to your website. Page views allow you to see which pages on your site are the most popular.

Average session duration: (also known as Engagement Rate) This is the length of time a visitor spends on your website, measured in time intervals.

Total exposure time: Total time users spend in your app

App installs: Number of downloads divided into Android and iPhone 

Selfies: Number of selfies taken

Screen top 10: Screens in your app which are used most

6. Public website
